We currently offer traineeships for the following professions:
Mechatronics technician for refrigeration engineering
Tool maker for stamping and forming technology
Electronics technician for industrial engineering
Technical product designer for machine and plant engineering
Industrial management assistant
Warehouse specialist
IT specialist for system integration
Management assistant for marketing communications
The facts.
When does training start? On 1 September every year.
When should I apply? By the end of November at the latest.
What documents do I need for my application? A cover letter with a photograph, a CV in the form of a table, your last school report, any other qualifications.
Where do I go to college? That depends on the individual profession and the year you are in: it can be Kulmbach, Lichtenfels, Kronach, Bayreuth, Rehau or Marktredwitz.
How long do I work? 35 hours per week with flexitime and 30 days' holiday.
Pay.
In 2017 our trainees were paid as follows:
- in the 1st year of training: 992 euros
- in the 2nd year of training: 1045 euros
- in the 3rd year of training: 1112 euros
- in the 4th year of training: 1157 euros
We also make payments to a (capital-building) savings plan (as a provision for retirement) and offer holiday pay, a Christmas bonus and a contribution towards travel to vocational colleges that are not local. Performance bonuses are on offer as an additional incentive for good and outstanding college grades.
