Three awards for a strong brand: Glen Dimplex Thermal Solutions.

The energy specialist from Kulmbach has received three German Brand Awards 2017.

The German Brand Award is the most important prize for outstanding brand management in Germany. Its purpose is to discover, showcase and give awards to pioneering brands and brand creators in different competitive classes. Glen Dimplex Thermal Solutions (GDTS) received three of the coveted awards this year. The specialist for energy-efficient cooling, heating and ventilation with system from Kulmbach triumphed against over 1200 nominees and proved that a consistent and tangible brand strategy really pays off – both for the success of the company and at awards events.

The market launch of GDTS received awards in the categories "Excellence in Brand Strategy – Heating and Bathroom" and "Excellence in Brand Strategy – Connectivity". The GDTS magazine also launched in March 2017 under the name "Radikal einfach. Einfach vielfältig" (Radically simple. Simply diverse) received an award in the category "Excellence in Branding, Strategy & Creation Brand Campaign – Classic & Print External". So, what was the jury of nine independent brand experts looking for? Among other things, innovation, typical brand features and perception, differentiation from the competition, design quality and functionality. "It goes without saying that we are particularly delighted that we managed to impress the jury not once, but three times", says Henrik Rutenbeck, Marketing Director at GDTS. "Setting up our new Glen Dimplex Thermal Solutions brand as a completely integrated unit from the very beginning – from the brand architecture, product design and interface design, to the print communication and website, as well as all other contact points – has clearly paid off. "

New and consistent: The brand relaunch.

Glen Dimplex Thermal Solutions is a new brand: It has combined the product brands Dimplex and Riedel and the corporate brand Glen Dimplex Deutschland since March 2017. The comprehensive relaunch was carried out in close cooperation with the Munich-based branding agency Vince & Vert and presented to the public at the leading international trade fair ISH 2017. "Strategically, it makes sense to combine our expertise in sustainable cooling, heating and ventilation under one strong roof", explains Rutenbeck. "The fact that this step was recognised so soon by independent and discerning experts is a real incentive for all colleagues at GDTS."
