Kulmbach. As of 1st July 2019, Clemens Dereschkewitz is the new CEO of Glen Dimplex Thermal Solutions (GDTS), international manufacturer of heat pumps and industrial cooling solutions with its headquarters in Kulmbach. Up until now, he has been the chairman of the board at ait-deutschland GmbH in Kasendorf. The manager is no stranger to GDTS: he was the CEO here until December 2010. He has also been a member of the executive board of the German Federal Association of Heat Pumps (BWP) since 2017. “With Clemens Dereschkewitz, we have been able to reclaim an experienced and extremely competent manager at the head our company who will successfully expand the strategic decisions made over the past few years,” emphasised Fergal Naughton, CEO of the Irish Glen Dimplex Group.

The former CEO, Jochen Engelke, is leaving the company on 1st July 2019 after almost 6 years to pursue new professional challenges.

Since joining the company in September 2013, Jochen Engelke’s task has been realigning Glen Dimplex Germany and positioning it for future market requirements. In recent years, Glen Dimplex Germany has developed from a national subsidiary of the Glen Dimplex Group to a division operating worldwide with a focus on heat pumps and industrial cooling solutions with sites in the USA, China and Europe.
