Kulmbach. People spend a large part of their lives in enclosed rooms. Whether they feel good inside those rooms primarily depends on the indoor air. Modern, energy-efficient houses and flats have to be insulated. And this makes the building envelope even more air-tight. Regular ventilation is key to ensuring enough air exchange in your own home as well as a healthy indoor climate. Briefly opening windows is no way near enough to fill up the living area with fresh air brought to the right temperature, and at the same time to remove pollutants, allergens and moisture.
M Flex Air from Dimplex achieves just that. Energy-efficient, quiet and reliable, it is the central ventilation module for domestic ventilation with heat recovery to ventilate and aerate living areas up to 250 square metres in size in a controlled way. 

Flexible installation.

With a width of 53,4 centimetres and a depth of 56 centimetres, the ventilation unit fits in all customary cupboard and kitchen units. Furthermore, it is possible to floor-mount or wall-mount the module, as well as to install it vertically or horizontally. This means that even housing it in the kitchen, hallway, bathroom or utility room is not a problem.
The M Flex Air ventilation module offers a lot of installation freedom: you can change the direction of air flow and the connections in the room for supply air and exhaust air can be on the left or right.

M Flex Air can be implemented as a unit on its own or in a combined system with System M heat pumps. The combined system is very easy and convenient to operate using the touch display of the heat pump’s internal unit or using the GDTS Home app on a smart device, tablet or mobile phone.
 

Complete comfort. At any time.

The electrical reheating register that can be integrated ensures increased comfort when the outside temperature is low. The electrical preheating register that can be integrated allows safe and continuous heat recovery, even in winter. And the condensate connection on the supply-air side allows it to be used in conveniently-cooled buildings. 
The M Flex Air Plus variant has an enthalpy heat exchanger for combined heat and moisture recovery. 

Guaranteed clean air. 

Allergy-sufferers can finally breathe easy: flower pollen, fine dust and soot particles do not even get into the living areas and bedrooms because there is a pollen filter installed in M Flex Air as standard. As a further cleanliness plus point, optional fine filters that allow a filter cascade to be set up are available. This means that the outside air is pre-filtered very efficiently and hygienically. The integrated air quality sensors in the exhaust air and the outside air that are fitted as standard adapt the air exchange to the air quality between the inside spaces and the outside area. Therefore, M Flex Air allows fully-automatic and efficient operation, always adapted to the current requirements.
Incidentally, at the same time as providing clean air almost noise-free, the ventilation system also contributes towards well-being, healthy sleep and concentration.

Operation with fireplaces: Safety comes first.

A ventilation system may only be installed and operated in flats and buildings with fireplaces – whether they are tile stoves, wood-burning stoves or gas stoves – if extensive safety measures are adopted. There is a good reason for this: it is essential to avoid an influx of harmful gases into the living spaces. Central Dimplex ventilation units offer maximum safety and the best comfort with an integrated, TÜV-tested fireplace safety function and volume flow balance.

The Air 56 air distribution system from Dimplex saves space and is convenient: it is the ideal partner to the M Flex Air ventilation module. Due to its modular system design, Air 56 is extremely easy to install and very quick to set up. During new builds, Air 56 is routed directly in the ceiling, wall, concrete or insulation layer. It can even be installed alongside electric wires. 
The ventilation pipes can be bent flexibly in all directions without many additional components. Because the system’s design makes it incredibly easy to install, it is also possible to make adaptations on site at short notice.
