Dimplex is the brand from Glen Dimplex Thermal Solutions (GDTS) that has for decades been ensuring perfect temperature control in buildings. And now the cooling circuit pioneers from Kulmbach, Upper Franconia (Germany), have reinvented the heat pump! System M is the new modular heating-cooling system from Dimplex that is radically simple to choose, install and operate. It's simply versatile, with the right model for every wish or requirement. All the models need radically little space, are uniquely well designed, efficient, quiet and offer all-round comfort. Dimplex is presenting System M at the ISH Frankfurt from March 14-18, 2017, at the GDTS stand B63 in Hall 9.0.

For many heat pump manufacturers, it's like a game of trumps: who has the highest efficiency rating? Who has the lowest decibel value for the outdoor unit? "But with System M, that's not how we play," says Jochen Engelke, CEO of Glen Dimplex Thermal Solutions. "Starting with the individual modules, we put together systems that offer real advantages – to homeowners as much as to installation technicians." System M is a winner on design, ease of use, efficiency, noise and comfort. But it's the combination of all these factors that make System M a truly unique all-round solution.

Radically attractive and functional: space-saving, unobtrusive, versatile.

System M takes up as little space as possible – and looks great with it. At just 60×60 cm, the footprint of the System M indoor unit is the same as that of a fridge or washing machine. And thanks to its purity of form, clearly accentuated surfaces and outstanding finish, System M needn't be a wallflower either. The System M outdoor unit, meanwhile, is the smallest German-made outdoor heat-pump unit on the market, at just 60×50×87 cm. And it goes well with any façade or garden, thanks to the unrivalled range of colours and materials available.

Radically intuitive: using it is child's play.

System M doesn't need any operating instructions – the settings can be programmed easily via the innovative touch display on the device itself (except in the System M Pure variant) or via the Smart Room Heating App on a smart device (in all variants). Individual room temperatures, weekend or holiday settings, ventilation strength, quick heat option... everything is at your fingertips.

And because System M comes with an Internet connection in all versions, at no extra charge, it can automatically inform the installer or customer service about any irregularities and is always ready for updates.

Radically efficient: no more rigid heating curve.

System M is radically efficient, in three different ways. First, only heat pumps such as System M achieve the A++ class energy label for individual heat generators, as opposed to oil or gas heating. Second, System M has so many integrated functions and optional add-ons that it achieves top scores on the energy label for combined systems, too. And third, System M comes with smart control technology which continuously calculates the lowest-possible return flow temperature for the desired conditions in up to ten different rooms. In other words, System M has put an end to the rigid heating curve – and to the choice between comfort and efficiency. System M simply runs as economically as possible, automatically.

Radically quiet: it doesn't just sound quiet, it looks quiet, too!

System M is as quiet as a whisper – and it looks like it. That's because it isn't just optimised for the sound lab but for use in the real world. All the sound escapes at the side and not towards the garden or the neighbours. You don't see any ventilation grilles or twirling propellers either, which often look like they are going to be noisy. System M specifically filters out the low frequencies that disturb the human ear. And it separates the two sources of noise from each other by placing the evaporator in the outside unit and the compressor in the inside unit.

Radically comfortable: the perfect variant for every need.

System M is available in customised variants which are just right for every need.

• System M Pure,the variant for small or prefab homes up to 150 m² , comes with a heating capacity of 4 kW or 6 kW and a 180 litre hot water tank.
• System M Compact and System M Comfort are comfortable, sustainable heating solutions for modern family homes and luxury villas (up to 300 m²). They are also suitable for renovation projects. The two variants are available with heating capacities from 4 kW to 16 kW. A cooling option is available for hot days and the inverter technology allows a short burst of extra power if required. System M Compact comes with an integrated 180 litre hot water tank and System M Comfort can be fitted with a generous extra 240 litre hot water tank.
• A range of extra equipment can be preconfigured at the factory on request and delivered direct to the site for "plug and play" installation. Connecting modules are available for bivalent operation, for a second heating circuit (mixed/unmixed) and for operation with renewable energy (solar power/wood heating).

Radically complete: everything you could ever need.

System M is always fully installed both the hardware and the software. We make sure that the system is optimally tuned when first started up by our customer service team. System M can then be checked after the first heating period and adjusted as necessary thanks to its own online connection, which comes as standard. System M also receives automatic software updates via the Internet connection and can automatically report any technical deviations to customer service without requiring expensive maintenance contracts. The optional Long Life Service Package doubles the guarantee period from five to ten years. Thanks to continuous online monitoring of the heating performance and software upgrades for new functions, the unit will remain state-of- the-art for a long time yet.

Radically hassle-free: ordering, installing and maintaining it is child's play.

With System M, the ordering and installing process is as efficient as the system itself. Thanks to our well-designed packages that are simple to select and expand as necessary. Thanks to our "just-in- time" fast delivery system that ensures delivery within four days. Thanks to preassembled modules, which mean no more putting fiddly parts together, no more improvising on the job and no more ordering extra parts later on. Simply unpack the unit and connect it up. Thanks to our "easy-on" procedure, starting the system up for the first time only requires a few settings to be entered – and that's easily done via the display screen or a smart device. In fact, it just takes a few minutes. The total time saving for installing and getting the machine running is up to 12 hours compared to comparable systems on the market. And thanks to continuous online monitoring and the optional extended guarantee, maintenance is child's play, too.

As with every System M model, the whole is more than the sum of its individual parts. It's the combination which makes the difference!
