Designed for small sites. Inverter-controlled air-to-water heat pump for indoor installation.

The LI 16I-TUR heat pump is the latest inverter-controlled air-to-water heat pump for indoor installation from Glen Dimplex Deutschland’s Dimplex brand. Its most impressive features are its easy installation, low operating costs and modular expansion options. A key advantage as summers get increasingly hot: the LI 16I-TUR is reversible, allowing it to be used for both heating and cooling.

Thanks to its monoblock design, the new LI 16I-TUR is easy to install in a utility room or in the cellar. A professional can easily break down the heat pump into two parts. As a result, it fits into any building and can even be taken into cellars down very narrow staircases. This is often a crucial advantage when renovating buildings and replacing old heating systems.

Flexible and space-saving.

At the actual installation location, the system is extremely flexible to install. The air exhaust opening can be positioned as required, either to the left, to the right or upwards. The integrated air circuit with 90 degree deflection enables direct installation in a corner with no visible air ducts. The hydraulic connections can be routed to the right or left. Interchangeable panels ensure a flexible choice of sides for the power and heating connections. As a result the heat pump fits harmoniously into any space with no visible technical equipment.

Particularly important for indoor installation: The new LI 16I-TUR runs extremely quietly. Even at full heat output, sound emissions are minimal, both inside the building and next to the air exhaust opening on the wall.

Intelligently controlled.

The integrated inverter technology enables the heat pump output to be intelligently adapted to the actual heating or hot water consumption. As a result, it does less work when heat consumption is low and more when it is high. This means that more heating power is immediately available on cold days. The system adapts its output continuously and always reaches the desired room temperature with the lowest possible energy consumption. The power reserve of the inverter shortens the domestic hot water heat-up phase, thus delivering greater comfort. In night mode, with a maximum reduction of five percent of the output, it still provides sufficient energy. The LI 16I-TUR is intuitive to control using a clearly laid out colour touch display on the unit.

Sensible expansion.

Modular components supplement and expand the performance of the new heat pump. It can be combined with matching domestic hot water cylinders with a capacity of 300, 400 or 500 litres. A 120 litre built-under buffer tank with the same design as the air-to-water heat pump is also available, with the heat pump mounted on top of it to save space. The built-under buffer tank has innovative PU insulation for even lower standstill losses.

The LI 16I-TUR can also be perfectly combined with the M Flex Air central ventilation unit from Dimplex. Matching the design of the heat pump, the ventilation unit provides heat recovery and on one version also moisture recovery. Thanks to reversible directions of air flow, the M Flex Air is flexible to install and features integrated air quality sensors, a pollen filter and optionally fine dust filters, electric preheating and reheating registers and an intake side condensate connection for cooled buildings.
